Guy began his career at Singer & Friedlander as a portfolio manager specialising in high net worth private clients. He then spent three years with Banque Paribas structuring derivative based products for UK institutions. Prior to joining Ingenious Guy was a Director of Newton Investment Management for 9 years. In this role he launched a variety of investment products and saw institutional assets under management rise from £500 million to over £12 billion. He also chaired Newton's Portfolio Analytics Group, evaluating and managing risk within client portfolios. Guy holds a first class honours degree in pure mathematics and has recently completed an MSc in mathematics & finance at Imperial College.
