Ingenious Corporate Finance has advised Mmd, the leading corporate, public affairs and public relations consultancy across Central and Eastern Europe, on its sale to Huntsworth plc for consideration of up to £35million in October 2006.

Since establishing itself in Central and Eastern Europe in 1993, Mmd has seen consistent and significant growth. The company now has an organically developed network of offices in 18 countries across the region. Huntsworth plc is one of the largest independent PR groups in the world with leading brands in communications across 45 offices in 21 countries and a market capitalisation of around £170 million.

Ingenious advised Mmd on its strategic options and subsequently led the negotiations and structuring of the deal with Huntsworth which entailed the sale of both shares and assets across various Central and Eastern European territories. In addition to consideration upfront in both cash and shares, the deal includes further deferred consideration based on profits over the subsequent 3 years.

The deal further underlines the credentials of Ingenious Corporate Finance in the marketing services sector as well our execution capability not just in the UK, but in Continental Europe and across borders.
