Wall to Wall

Ingenious Corporate Finance has advised the shareholders of Wall to Wall (Holdings) Ltd (''Wall to Wall'') on the sale of the company to Shed Media Plc for a purchase price of up to £25m, payable in cash and Shed Media shares. Ingenious advised the shareholders on their strategic options and led the negotiations and structuring of the deal.

Wall to Wall was set up in 1987 by Alex Graham, current chair of PACT, and is one of the UK's best known independent TV production companies, supplying all of the UK terrestrial broadcasters and a number of leading US broadcasters. In its 20 year history Wall to Wall has developed a strong reputation for producing popular and critically acclaimed programming renowned for its high production quality across a broad range of genres including factual, drama, formats and features. Wall to Wall produces two of the UK's highest rating factual and drama series: the fourth series of Who Do You Think You Are? broadcast this autumn averaged over 6.3m viewers, representing audience share of 28.5%, whilst the fourth series of New Tricks averaged over 8.3m viewers, achieving a 33% audience share across the 8 episodes.

As part of the transaction, Alex Graham will receive a significant shareholding in the Shed Media Group and will join the board to help shape the future direction of the business.
