Rise of the Planet of the Apes

A radical reboot of the cult 1970s franchise, Rise of the Planet of the Apes was released to rave reviews and took the number one spot at the US and UK box office. It was co-produced by Big Screen Productions 15, 16 and 17 and Ingenious Film Partners 2 for Twentieth Century Fox. The film was directed by Rupert Wyatt and stars James Franco, Frieda Pinto and Andy Serkis, who brings Caesar the ape to life.

X-Men: First Class

X-Men: First Class grossed over $350 million in cinemas worldwide. Directed by Kick Ass helmer Matthew Vaughn and starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Kevin Bacon and Jennifer Lawrence, the film has introduced a new generation to the highly successful X-Men franchise.

Avatar

Ingenious Film Partners 2 LLP signed up to produce Avatar in 2006. It went on to make history as the highest-grossing film of all time, taking almost $2.8 billion at the box office in 2010 and winning 42 international film awards.

Rewind – The 80s Festival

Bel Ami

Bel Ami is an adaptation of Guy de Maupassant's 1885 novel, featuring Twilight star Robert Pattinson. It tells of a peasant-born soldier who climbs the social ladder through a series of affairs with well-connected women.

Taste Festivals

Ingenious Live VCTs invested £2 million alongside Brand Events to co-promote The Taste Festivals in London and Edinburgh. The festivals featured the food industry’s top celebrities, including Michel Roux Jr and Jean Christophe Novelli.

127 Hours

127 Hours, executive-produced by Ingenious and directed by the critically-acclaimed British director Danny Boyle, picked up eight BAFTA nominations following its release in 2010.

Let's Dance for Comic Relief

Let’s Dance was originally commissioned by the BBC for Comic Relief in 2009 and, following its initial success, has run for two subsequent years. The format has been sold and aired in Germany, Holland, Slovakia, Sweden, Russia and Indonesia.
