Ingenious Live VCT 1&2

Ingenious Live VCT 1&2 closed at the end of July 2007, raising over £18 million to invest in the live entertainment sector. This made it one of the largest specialist VCT funds launched in the 2006/7 tax year.

The Ingenious Live VCTs invest in the live events sector targeting concerts, festivals, conferences, trade fairs, exhibitions, sporting events and theatre. The investment comes at a time when there is significant growth in the UK live events market as household spending continues to increase in this sector.

This is the first time Ingenious has employed a ''twin'' structure, which gives us greater flexibility in allowing for co-investment of up to £2 million in any one investee company.
