Ingenious Asset Management welcomes new Investment Directors

Ingenious Asset Management announced today the appointment of Philip Todd and James Oldham as Investment Directors.

Both are joining from Taylor Young Investment Management where they were responsible for discretionary asset management of Private Clients, Charities, Pensions and Trusts. In addition to his portfolio management responsibilities, James Oldham was also responsible for managing the CF Taylor Young Growth & Income Fund (top Morningstar Rating of "5 stars" and top Lipper Leader Rating of 5 for risk adjusted performance). Todd and Oldham will be responsible for high net worth private client and charity portfolios and further developing Ingenious' discretionary asset management business.

Philip Todd

Philip joined Hill Samuel in 1986. After a period in Edinburgh, he moved to London in 1990 and was Director of the Private Client and Charity Division. In 1998 he joined Taylor Young where he was Director, Private Client and Charities, a board director, a member of the Executive Committee and a Senior Investment Manager.

James Oldham

James started his career at Johnson Fry Plc (now Legg Mason Investment Managers) before becoming a founding director of AKG Group, a holding company with investments and services which ranged from advice and trustee services to self-invested and self-administered pensions to consultancy services and actuarial advice to the financial services industry. James joined Taylor Young in March 2000, was a Senior Investment Manager and an Associate Director managing the Taylor Young Growth and Income Fund. He was responsible for Industrials and Support Services research.
