Ingenious, the media investment and advisory group, announces that Adam Joy and David Curley are to join Ingenious Corporate Finance as Managing Directors.
Adam and David join from UBS Investment Bank - Adam was Head of European Media Investment Banking and has over 13 years' experience of advising clients in the media and communications sectors, particularly in consumer, business and professional publishing whilst David has extensive relationships and transaction experience in broadcasting, content and entertainment. Together they have advised on many of the landmark deals in European Media over the last decade, including the acquisition of Bertelsmann Springer by Cinven and Candover, the merger of Carlton and Granada to form ITV and the sale of All3Media to Permira. Adam and David will start at Ingenious in August.
Ingenious Corporate Finance specialises in providing financial advice to the media sector. It has advised many of the media industry's most exciting companies including Shed and RDF on their IPOs, the sales of 19 Entertainment and sit-up TV and advising Robbie Williams on what is believed to be the largest recording deal in British music industry history. The appointment of Adam and David marks the next step in the growth of Ingenious' corporate finance business.
