[First Light to become part of Film nation UK]

On Friday 12 April, the British Film Institute announced that a new organisation, Film Nation UK, will deliver a bold and visionary new film education programme from September 2013 that will be available to every 5-19 year old and the 26,700 schools in the UK. First Light will become part of this over-arching organisation contributing to Film Nation's new programme which will use funds from the National Lottery to encourage a new generation of film makers through programmes centred on watching, making and understanding film.

The Collider12 programme was launched by Creative England, Pembridge and Ingenious Ventures to support early stage businesses who are developing technologies and products to help brands engage with their consumers.
